Interesting conversation on male and female relationships.

Pusha T-Alone in Vegas

I know I'm a few days late in praising this..but eff it, better late than never.

Odd Future Vs Nardwar

A hip hop blog ain't a hip hop unless you post all things Odd Future. By the way if you have never watched a Nardwar interview you are depriving yourself.

All Philly Cipher

Ms. Jade, Meek Millz, Peedi Crakk and Dice Raw

Classified – Ups & Downs

I don't know anything about Classified but this is ard as the kids say.

Pusha T on the fear of God

While your at it go cop Pusha's new mixtape

Jets Fool!!

I assume this is some of type of commercial for the Currensy's crew. Loving the James Bond footage,

Jim Jones – Perfect Day

I think Jones might be on to something with this one. The sign language is off the hook too.

The Dean Brothers

Who knew the Ruff Ryders had such a close connection to hip hop. From one being the father of Swizz Beatz, to Kool Herc, to Heavy D, the lineage is strong.

Where I'm From x The Dean Brothers from Gasface on Vimeo.

Ab-Soul – Nothing New

Add this to the list of things I'm not sure of, but that I find interesting.

20 Years Since Rodney King Beating

Can't we all just get along was added to our lexicon 20 years ago today. What better way to commemorate than with some NWA?

Cormega – Rapture

Every so often I miss gritty New York rap and after listening to this, I'm feeling nostalgic for it.

Thisis50 Interview With Raekwon

What Rap Head is not hyped to hear Nas and Rae together again?

Jay-Z: Evolution of My Style

If you like hearing Jay-Z talk about rap, this is cool.

DaVinci – Blame Game

One of the main points of this blog is to shed light on some up and coming, below the surface talent, with that said checkout DaVinci over Blame Game.

DaVinci - "Blame Game" (Music Video) from SWTBRDS (Sweetbreads) on Vimeo.

I don't know if Em was preparing to send this Paul Wall, but this unreleased track about candy paint is interesting.

Musiq Soulchild Takes An L

What's not funny about a performer falling off stage? Unless it's Trouble T Roy of course.

Sean Price Interview

Who knew Sean Price and Memphis Bleek were cousins? Price always seems like a good interview.

TNC - JAY FORCE w/ SEAN PRICE

New LIl Wayne

A homie recently told me Wayne might be hanging with Drake too much. I wanted to disagree but after listening to this, he may just be right. Still not bad though

Method Man Talks About Early Wu

Doesn't marijuana effect your brain cells? Well Method Man reminisces about his upbringing including his first encounter with fellow Wu-Tang members.

Where I'm From x Clifford Smith from Gasface on Vimeo.

Consequence “Man Purses”

Consequence digs his teeth into Kanye with his new joint. I guess that deserves a pause.

It must be a Cali Day, I been feeling Erk for a minute glad to see something new from him.

Raekwon - Molasses (ft. Rick Ross & Ghostface Killah)

I got into a discussion about the merits of Rick Ross rhymes. The person I was arguing with said Ross doesn't say anything. My reply was you like Rae and Ghost don't you? Well here is a collaboration with all three. If you can decipher what any of them are talking about I have $27 in the mail I will send you.

DJ Premier

In honor of DJ Premier's breakdown of his some of his greatest tracks in a Complex interview , I figured I would post some of my favorite Premo songs. While your at it check out Premier in his own words.
http://www.complex.com/music/2011/02/dj-premier-tells-all-stories-behind-classic-records/

Who knew "Mass Appeal" was a dig on mainstream radio at the time?

One of Premier's greatest beats in my humble opinion.

Most hardcore hip heads will know this sample already but hear it is anyway.

Kanye, Rihanna and KId Cudi- All of the Lights

Something about this video strikes me as odd. Is it that Hype Williams directed a video titled "All of the Lights" and it didn't involve bright lights for the first minute, or is it something else?

Rick Ross Source Interview

During All-Star weekend, The Source caught up with Ricky Rozay and he explains what makes him one of the best beat selectors as well as his plans for MMG who he just singed to Warner Bros.

Ghost and Rae on Late Night

I may need to give the Fallon show another try after this and Odd Future's performance this past week.

New Radiohead

I think my favorite rock group maybe on to something. In true weirdo/genius fashion, the group announced they were releasing their latest album just four days prior to its release. How many rappers could away with that?

Do The Glen Beck

Since it is a slow day in rap, I came across the most recent ridiculous rant by Glen Beck. While on the subject I think some down south rapper should start a Glen Beck Dance. I should file this under comedy, I know I'm not the only person who finds ignorance funny.

Dre Day

If you are in the city of Philly come celebrate the born day of the Doctor tonight.

Internet Gangsta

Shout out to the big homie Big OC Diesel who wears many hats including comedian. He hits the Internet Gangsta thing right on the head.

Redman "Lets Hang Out Bitch"

If I had to pick one rapper to run wild with a camera and film him doing a bunch of random shite, Reggie Noble would be somewhere on the list. I think at this point, Redman may have a new career in the making, it may not be a bad idea since his last album wasn't one of his best.

Odd Future

I don't know a great deal about these kids admittedly, but this is one of the most energetic performances I have seen on a late night show from a rap group ever.

Classic Artest Moment

If anyone warrants having a "best of", it is Ron Artest and last night was no one of them. After the Lakers and Artest were blown out by the Charlotte Bobcats no less, Artest was more interested in the fumes of Lamar and his Kardaisan wife's unisex perform.

Cee-Lo "Bodies"

Fresh off his Grammy performance dressed as Big Bird. Cee- Lo delivers the video for one of the better songs off his latest album.

New Ross and Meek Millz

I have been meaning to Congrat the young homie Meek Millz on his big deal with the Boss. Let's hope this bodes well for other Philly artist. It's interesting to hear Ross and Meek go back forth.

I have yet to hear their mixtape, but hearing Black Thoughts breakdown of the crew. I just may have to get around to it.

Top Ways to kick someone off stage

1)When Prince commands a woman to dance, she better dance, even if your last name is Kardasian. If your going to kick the it girl of the moment off stage, you should at least be wearing a shimmering gold outfit.

2) One of the most effective ways is the Akon gorilla throw

3) Well if kicking beautiful girls of your stage or literally propelling fans off stage isn't your thing, you can always take the Jay-Z and Alicia Keys route and act like it was supposed to go down that way.

Happy Black History Month

Sad to say I could not really find anything current to update for Black History Month. So I figured why not go back in the day and let Ras Kass tell you some things, if you have a minute or eight to spear.

Lincoln Way Nights Drops Today

Go out and cop Stalley's album today. The dude knows some odd facts about his beloved state of Ohio.

Kid Cudi or Basquiat

To be honest it' the artists Basquiat in this unofficial video, but I'm still not %100 sure.

RIP J. Dilla

I was informed earlier today was J. Dilla's Birthday. I was honestly never a huge fan but looking at his production credits as well as his vocal and instrumentalist credits, consider me now informed.

Dilla played Bass on the Badu track which was one of my favorites off of Momma's Gun
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1-dWqqy1A8

Dilla supposedly produced a bunch of tracks he did not get full credit for including "Runnin" by the Pharcyde and "Stakes is High" by De La Soul

School Boy Q

You ever like something without knowing why you like it? This is how I feel about this song.

QB History

I grew up a fan of Queens Bridge rap music, so seeing these two legends build on gentrication and just life as grown men was nice to see.

National Anthem Flubs

In honor of Christina Aguilera's flub during the super bowl, I thought I would show a couple of other people destroy our beloved anthem.

First up would have to bee Cuba Goodin's daddy

Uncle Face

When news broke a few days ago that Scarface was incarcerated since October, I didnt know what was more sad, that he was knocked or that nobody knew for the past three months. I got hipped to the O.G. a little late in life, but here is one of his classics.

Happy Black History Month

Thanks for the support that I have been receiving for the blog. Sorry I haven't updated it in a few days. But I'm back and will try to continue with the Black History Month updates. Here is a video from the disappointing venture Distant Relatives with Nas and Damien Marley "Patience". I have no clue why this video was even released since the alum was released months ago but here it is.

Pun Day

"Dead in the Middle of Little Italy" well you can try to recite the rest.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CA7DvbWy7bs

Rare Pun

Pun slaughtered almost every posse cut I heard him on. Including songs featuring Nas, Kiss, Kool G. Rap, etc.."Wishful Thinkin" was no different, check the apology to his wife who he reportedly pistol whipped.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xx-VmxPykkU

RIP to Big Pun

Eleven years ago today, hip hop lost one of its most promising and arguably one of its best ever. The first time I ever heard Pun was on 60 minutes of funk volume 1 in the winter of 1995 of Wu Tangs "Ice Cream" instrumental.

Happy Black History Month

I'm diggin the subtle and not so subtle ways that black consciousness has crept back into hip hop. Cyhi Da Prynce who I think stole the show on Kanye's posse cut "So Appalled delivers a video for Ring Bellz a little but right on time for Black History Month.

Mike Tyson vs Gucci Mane

Anytime Mike Tyson has anything to say about anything, I listen. When DJ Who Kid interviewed Iron Mike on Shade 45 he had this to say about Gucci Mane's tattoo.

Creative Sickness

Move over Hype Williams, Creative Control makes the dopeset visuals in hip hop hands down right now.The main reason why I enjoy artist like Curren$y as much as I do is seeing what way they are going to surpass their last video. Creative don't use lighting or colors as well as Hype Williams did in his prime but what they lack bright lights and glamorous outfits they make up in premise. The Damon Dash backed group consist of Coodie and Chike who became famous after directing Kanye Wests' first video "Through the Wire"

http://www.creativecontrol.tv/www/#/music-videos/

Happy Black History Month

With rappers getting ice cream tattoo's on their face, it's a pleasant surprise to see Mid West rapper Freddie Gibbs get a life size tattoo of Huey Newton on his back. To be honest I was never a huge fan of Gibbs' music but anyone who gets a revolutionary like Huey Newton inked on his back is cool with me.

Ohio Loves Long Beards Too?

Being from Philly, I assumed we were the only folks that rocked long beards. Then I was introduced to Stalley who just know was a fellow Philly resident. I was wrong!! The Ohio native reminds me of a newer version of Diagble Planets with very jazzy fell to his music.

Welcome To The World

I would like to welcome the 3 people who may read this to my world. Well maybe world is a stretch. I would like to welcome you to my crib. 40oz's of Private Stock for all who enter.

This blog will mainly be hip hop based, with perhaps the occasional political rant.Who knows which way the wind blow.

With that being said..I would like to introduce those who need a late pass to T.I., Kid Cudi and Kanye West's jam. Yea T.I stay out the joint but this song bumps
